I'm always looking for an excuse to head down to your neck of the wood J-Dog - put me down as a definite maybe!
Just curious - what's up with the booth at the Orlando show?

Cool Steve. I was going to announce this later but I guess now is as good a time as any to spill the beans. My bandmate and I have started a guitar refinishing business, Surefin Custom Coatings, and we'll have a dealer booth at the Orlando show in January. We have just purchased the first round of supplies, etc, and are currently painting CV on some scraps of spruce to test out all the equipment and the facility. Stay tuned! :)

Just a thought Jdog,

IF you are planning the same weekend as the Orland Guitar show, would you consider the same hotel they are using? I don't know anything about it, but they did have a GREAT rate last year when I checked them out.

Lemme know if you want me to do some legwork.

Info on the Orlando Guitar Expo can be found here. I think this will be the 21st annual, and last year (technically this year, 1/08) they had over 100 booths, thousands of guitars. Lots of cool stuff. I saw about two dozen Ricks, NOT counting the Olivia's section, which had about 10 or 20 cool Ricks themselves.

The guitar show uses HoJo; I do not recommend it after last year. Tony C and I are looking into hotel options, including something that will have a conference room for a confluence. We'll keep you posted. Cheers, JD

Now THAT would be cool!

I've only HEARD stories Howard, about you gents from across the Atlantic, but I don't believe a single one!

Hmmm, I did some TALL TALES about Graham as well, but they turned out to be totally false! I've never met a more proper, polite & friendly chap!
Oh and Graham, I'm BRINGING THOSE TWO REMAINING BOTTLES WITH ME!

I DID however, happen to see a video I found TOTALLY by error of Trotty with a BIG TEDDY BEAR...............I almost flipped over backwards in my chair!

Cough, splutter, I nearly chocked on my Guinness reading that! Although initially I thought he was a 'Trousers, Waistcoat And Topper' kind of guy, After knowing him for many years I can confirm that he really is one!

I wouldn't believe them either, especially since Howard normally travels across the Pacific.
