As per John Hall's post on the corporate website forum yesterday:
"That guitar is a twin to an entirely custom made instrument for my friend, Mark Hudson. In the past, when on a tight deadline, I usually requested two instruments be made in this circumstance, as a backup, for instance in case one was damaged in transit. Mark gave the first one as a present to Joe Perry to commemorate Mark's work as a producer for Aerosmith, and since the spare ultimately was not needed, it was sold. Joe's guitar had a special pickguard with Mark's signature/logo on it, whereas the spare did not"
I cant believe I ended up with that baby!!!!!

Congratulations, Craig. A great instrument with a story that is sure to intrigue.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Very cool Craig. She is a gorgeous guitar, and has a unique story to her past as well. Congrats!

So, Craigger.......how's the P-burst sounding? Been playin' it? Peace, out.......Goofyfoot.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

David.....I have been playing it a bit......it's just a wonderful guitar!!
I've been alternating it with the 360/12c63 black/blue/fireglo which is equally as wonderful.
I'm not sure how to do it, but I'll see what I can do Scotty.
