Allright!
Who set the Earthquake off early?
That was supposed to be the entertainment for the out-of town SoCalCon visitors!

I just knew that when I moved away from So Cal in '90 that I left something behind! It just may be the fault I left there that finally decided to...!

Quake hit us 35 minutes before the end of today's summer school session three miles west of downtown Los Angeles. Kids reacted beautifully --- drop (to the floor), cover (go under the desk), hold (onto the vertical leg of desk). Can't say the same for administration following prescribed procedures. I know, I know.......tell me something I don't already know! It was more of a rolling motion rather than a jolting one. The incident lasted ten seconds, maybe twelve. Late.......Goofyfoot.

Gary-I vote with you on keeping guitars in their cases. Ever since the Whittier Narrows qualke mine remain in the case unless they're being played: I had all of my guitars in their stands, save for the one I was playing, when the quake hit. As the house shook, I tried to decide which guitars, and how many of them, I could carry down the stairs and out of the house.

Graham and Aitch in the same State and that's a predictable result in my mind and to think I almost had both of them coming up here for a visit under the same roof and at the same time. It would seem that I have narrowly missed a potential disaster of gigantic proportions.

Glad to hear everyone is OK folks. Have a great time at SOCAL.

Okay, who started the pre-confluence Rocking-N-Rolling?

Glad to hear that everyone's okay.

Ah, the Marina District! That one building must have been the most photographed one of that EQ.
