Japanese Rickenbacker Site

Post by admin »

There are some interesting Rickenbacker guitars and basses here.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I am amazed! Uchida has the only other JG 4005WB I have ever seen anywhere besides mine!!! And Makihara has a 21 fret 4001. There are some mighty fine instruments on this site.

I knew that RIC made some 650 Colorados with Rosewood fretboard...but I never saw the 650 in red or green like one of these Japanese guys has them. Looks really good.

On the page "Bestle's collection" (http://www.ricmania.jp/ric14.html), there is a '68 375 with a binding line down the centre of the back. Is this normal? I don't think I've ever noticed it before.

Didn't I hear that one of the 650 models now comes with a rosewood board?

That '67 375 was at Guitar Broker a few months ago. I don't know why it has that center stripe down the middle of the back.
