Rics Attack Omaha

Post by rickosound »

My band from the 1980 Class of Creighton University Law School in Omaha regroups once a year. Although we're now spread out, we tend to go back to Omaha, where we have friends and classmates who can come to see us. Our annual gig was last night. In previous engagements, we have used my 360/12 and 355JL, but two months ago, our bass player bought a 4003. Last night, for the first time, and for a handful of songs, we featured an all-Ric lineup. Not too many bands offer that nowadays. This photo was taken during "I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better." That's me on the right, looking decrepit, but with the 355JL. It's a trade off I'll take.

Tom

P.S. Yes, we're wearing retro bowling shirts. :(

Cool tradition, Tom. The three Rics are very classy, the bowling shirts . . . not so much

Talk about the shirts!!!! They made me wear one too!!!! Could be child abuse, but for the fact that I got to play with the band on "Last Train To Clarksville" and pick my Gretsch. If I had to do it over, I would...
