Ampeg B25 2-15 cabinet give-away!

Post by jps »

I have a pretty beat up but intact cabinet for anyone who wants to come pick it up from my place. I am on the East side of Cleveland, Ohio.

I wish Cleveland was closer. I could use one of those.

This cabinet does need work, so it wouldn't exactly be plug-n-play!

How big is it and what exactly does "pretty beat up" and "cabinet does need work" mean?

The Tolex is coming off in some areas, the grill cloth has been cut off in the middle area and the rest painted black although the Ampeg nameplate is there, but painted black as well, the original speakers are there but one is inside the cab :!: , both should be replaced or reconed at the very least. The dimensions are 40" x 24" x 14". I got this from someone in this condition and planned to refurbish it, but I don't think I will get around to doing it, so I want someone who can turn this back into a great cabinet to have it.

Hi Jeff, I'd definately be interested, where in Cleveland are you? I am sandwiched between Detroit and Ann Arbor, how soon do you want it picked up?

I will know by tomorrow evening whether the cab is still available; someone local might be picking it up tomorrow; I also posted this in a couple other forums I am involved with. I am not in a big hurry but first come first served is usually the best policy. I think at this point if it is not gone, John Allgaier may be next in line, but than again, Kevin is closer! I will not ship this as it is too large and heavy for the usual shipping methods and would have to go freight.

Hey Kevin, I'll swap you for the 21 fretter, I'll even deliver it to Erie for you!

No pics at the moment, I'll wait to see if I still have it tomorrow to take pics.

Now that right there is a screaming deal!

I would love to have this cab, but don't need it. If someone really needs, they can jump ahead of me.
