Where is registration (serial) number?

Can I ask a stupid question? Where is the registration or serial number of a Ric 360 located? It is certainly not on the headstock where my Telecaster's is located.

The jackplate.
Should be XX-XXXX or XX-XXX if it's pre-1971.
