The production, music and dancing on that vid are just sooooooo professional, but I find the lyrics hard to follow. Check out the subtitled version:

Evan,

The phonetic translation("correct" or not) you provided had me laughing tears - it just added perfectly to the already
goofy urgency of the original. Paul, please comment on this as well. I dare you to make a CD of the music and turn
it WAY up when you come to stop lights in San Fran just to register the neighboring drivers' faces. This IS just too much!

Nothing surprises SF drivers.

The lyrics apparently refer to the difficulty Gvr. Schwartzenegger is having getting a budget out of the legislature this year.

Paul, thanks for clearing up the lyrics issue.

You are in my old stompin' grounds. I grew up in Oakland, then Lafayette for
10 years, and graduated from USF before Stanford for grad work during the "summer of love". Hard to believe that in those days on any given weekend you could go into the city and see people like Quicksilver at the Avalon Ballroom off Van Ness, or the Airplane at the Fillmore or Cream at Winterland on Geary for 5-10 bucks. No big "stadium" shows. just "dance concerts"
where every body stood or moved around where they wanted. I once stood right in front of the stage 8' from Jimi Hendrix
playing "Foxy Lady" watching his marshal stack start to vibrate and move dangerously off the back of the stage until
roadies came to the rescue as "human bracing" until the set was finished.

The City has always been such a beautiful place to enjoy a rich cultural mix from the very cosmopolitan to the artsy. Good
to hear from a current native now and then.
