Vox Python Strap -- famous users?

They are super heavy, and could absolutely take a nice chunk out of your guitar!

oh snap! I stand corrected on the price (I swear I've seen them for much more somewhere before).

Still though, $119 for a strap is no bargain. That, or I'm just a cheap *******

I don't think that's cheap at all; I'd rather buy five Rickenbacker straps, or else buy a custom strap or two made by Baltazar, than pay that much for a Python, but to each one's own!

I agree, quite a bit overpriced. It's not like it's handmade from rare materials. Besides, I seem to recall from a few postings here and on corporate of folks who have accidently scratched up their Ricks with them.

Yeah. I think it's just the lighting that makes it look different - look at the top of his shoulder.

If you see them from the wrong angle, the chrome reflects off and looks dark instead of bright.

My vox strap was a gift grom my good mate Darren Trott!
Don't think i'm trying to be John Lennon though!
And , Yes, i'm particularly carefull that i dont let it bash into any of my ricks! It is heavy,but i find it also very comfortable once i'm wearing it!
