Thanks for the enthusiasm everybody. Hold your horses though. In light of these scheduling nightmares (proximity to MARF, the freekin Super Bowl) we are thinking of just doing a small local thing. Of course everyone is welcome to that too, but we wouldn't be rolling out the red carpet like we want to do for a proper confluence. So postponement is the topic at hand.

If we can get a solid headcount of attendees who are definitely coming despite the mess discussed above, we will proceed. Please post here if you're definitely down no matter what.

Keep in mind it's not just Super Bowl weekend, but the Super Bowl is in Tampa, so Tampa will be completely insane for a whole week, and Orlando will be pretty nutty too with Bowlers wanting to go to Disney etc while they're in the sunshine state. Florida airports will not be fun that week. You've been warned!

Late February is a GREAT time to visit Florida. My family vacationed there at that time last winter, and it was the PERFECT getaway from the Minnesota cold....

Yes, I think that's an excellent idea! I'm also glad to see some more interest! Everyone please chime in and we'll figure out something that works for as many as we can. And, Orlando or Tampa? Beach vs. Disney, pretty much. Either works for me, they're only about an hour drive apart.
