I use 10's in the Nanoweb Elixir's on my Ric 6-string guitars - I like them a lot. I also use them on my acoustics when I play out, and I can get about 10 3-to-4 hour gigs out of a set of Elixirs; I used to use Martin SP strings and got about 3 gigs out of them, so the price difference in the Elixirs is well worth it if you play a lot.

I have over 1,000 gigs on my Martin D35, and the neck is in fantastic shape - I highly recommend Elixirs.

I use Elixir Nanowebs on my Ric acoustic, and I really like them on that guitar.... However, I am not nearly as impressed with them on my 12-string Breedlove acoustic. But I've never tried them on an electric guitar....

I used Elixir Nanowebs om my Rick acoustics, because Melibee liked 'em so much!

Then I switched to Martin Extra Lights on 12s and Lights on 6s. Playablity went way up: the Martins are lower-tension and should be easier on a 12 string neck.

Longevity, when wiped down regularly with Lem-Oil, improves quite a bit.

On electrics, however, I use Tomastik-Infelds when I want premium strings.
