I missed my own anniversary

Post by marc61 »

Yuppers...yesterday was 5 years to the day I joined this forum. In search of a Sea Green 4001v63, which I never obtained. What I did get was a chance to network and befriend a great group of people.

Thanks all!

Now I ain't makin' no excuses for the many things I uses
Just to sweeten my relationships and brighten up my day
But when my earthly race is over and I'm ready for the clover
And they ask me how my life has been I guess I'll have to say

I was stoned and I missed it
I was stoned and I missed it
I was stoned and it rolled right by
I was stoned and I missed it
I was stoned and I missed it
I was stoned oh me oh my

I can't help it, that's the song that came to mind!

Someday you may yet get that SG 4001V63, hopefully not at the expense of losing any friends! :D

As long as you don't forget your wedding anniversary and your wife's birthday you are OK ...

I don't even remember what year I joined let alone the month or day ...

I guess I never look at that information under my avatar ...

I think I've told you this, but the quest for the coveted Sea Green V63 is what landed me here as well, Marc.

Congrats on your 5th!

Congrats Marc.

I still have not found my old FG 375 either. I know someone has it and she was a beauty.

As in many cases of life gentlemen, it would appear, sometimes, the journey takes on a more relevant meaning than the destination... :)

Seems to me concerning RRF, the more you participate, the more it changes your life. Making friends, learning, taking on new skills, exposure to new music, added responsibilities, starting/adding to a collection, saving others from fraud, recovering lost instruments, travel, meeting and/or posting with famous musicians, you name it.
