That's what I've been waiting to know, how about it Mark, what's the tone like?

Well, I've never owned a "real Ric", so I can only judge based on Rics that I've heard live, on record, or played in a store. I gave the Grecofaker a good working over at band rehearsal last night, and with D'Addario Chromes I was able to get anything from old school thump to that trademark trebly Ric sound.

I'm very happy with this bass, and the guys and girl in the band were drooling over how beautiful it looks. Our guitarist commented on how good it sounded, which is a telling fact, since it's not often that a guitarist is even remotely interested in how a bass sounds :-)

Mark,
I know what you mean about that...but lately, since I upgraded my rig to GK, my guitarist wanders over to my side of the stage and just grooves on the bass sound. I think he likes the 73 Ric MG thru that rig almost as much as I do!
