D'Addario Chromes - Paying it Forward - FREE

Post by atomic_punk »

I bought a set of 5-string D'Addario Chromes (ECB81-5 Regular Light Gauge) for my new Bongo, put them on for a few days (maybe 30-45 min. playing time) and they just are not for me. I'm a hardcore rounds guy, I guess.
Anyway..
If anyone here wants them, ($35 value), just send me an address and they are yours. I just know I am not going to use them and would like to see them go to someone who will.

Though I'm here first, I'll let em go to someone else, I'm set for strings for now, though the cheapskate in me wants them.... NO NO.
Very generous offer btw.

I was only on the dark side for a day or so, but had to give it a try. Now I know I'm not going back :)

the 4 band EQ ...

Instead of flats I prefer rounds that have aged a little ... they lose the harshness but still have some overtones ...

For me the best sounding flats I ever played were Dean Markley flats ... but they were not good enough to make me want them on one of my basses.
