well thanks everyone for your comments im probly gonna stick around on the forums but just to let you all no a few things about your comments 1. i have changed the nobs there not the origionals 2. i got it for free meny years ago when i was young and found it lying around when i was moving 3. i never played it and i am not a starter i have a gibson les paul custom II and have played for years now. but still thank you all for everything and all your good comments and i dont think its ugly and it plays pretty nice almost as good as my lespaul (not quite) and its really not that diffrent from the real thing so if you say its ugly ur calling rickenbackers ugly and no one wants that!

Kyle, if you search the Forum for trademark, infringement, or a combination thereof, you'll find that the subject of copies can bring about somewhat heated discussions ... it is nothing personal. We appreciate your sharing with us, and if you are ever near a Confluence, please come by and try out a few Rickenbackers for comparison.

BTW. although I love my Rickenbackers, my 1967 Gibson ES-335TDC has sound and action to die for! :)

I think there might have been a more tacful way to tell Kyle that his guitar was not a Rick other than calling it firewood. Make the kid feel foolish, why dontcha?

If you like your Rick copy, play it and enjoy it, and don't worry about the snide comments.

Hey Kyle,
If my comments have upset you in any way, I humbly apologize!
In no way was the "firewood" comment meant as an attack on you,it is a term used in regards to "fakes". I never belittle anyone on this forum, as i find all who venture in here warm and receptive people!
Enjoy your guitars, enjoy the music you make, and enjoy the people on this forum.

a few years ago before i had the cash for a real ric i found a new ric 330 copy at a fair from one of those guys that sells harmonys and kays. it was so called fireglo i got it for $120 and after a string change and set up it wasent that bad the fake toasters was ok but i got a set of real highgains off ebay for around $60 and wow it was realy good then it was a fun little guitar to play and at the time i told myself i dont need a real ric this riff is just as good never having played a real ric then after i sold the riff to pay some bills i walked in a guitar center and they had a used but mint 360/12FG for $1,000 well i never had the money to get it but i got to play it and wow i was wrong about the riff being just as good as a real ric so about 2 years later i got my first real ric a 360/12FG then a 330/6FG that i sold  then a 650c AFG and a 360/6FG on order. and im already thinking of ordering 660/12 next year . so you see some of us ric guys have had fake's too its not that there that bad its just that a real ric is so mutch better..
09 360/6 fireglo. 09 360/12 fireglo. A tele a strat and a VOX
