Mmmm, blueboy

Post by thedistrict3 »

I'm getting so very obsessed with the ebay

This caught my eye just now, seriously thinking of buying it

Can anybody see any faults with it?

 not really a "fault", ...the objectionable part is that Olivia's has got its hands on it :?

I can't really tell how good it's condition is fron the scarcity of pictures inthat listing!

Generally I don't like Blueboy, but for some reason it works to my eyes on a 4003. Looks nice, but if the seller has a bad reputation...

AFAIK, the only "bad reputation" Olivia's has is that they price things very high.

I like that BB with the white binding. Looks classy. And it is fretless....

The guy who is selling that bass lives by me. He's like a vintage guitar dealer, good people. That bass is a beauty btw. :D

Tell me about it. He's tried to Ebay this twice (at least) before, but it's not selling - and I really don't know why.

It bloody well would if I could afford it right now - and he's a just few minutes' walk down the road from me! :D

Blueboy is a touchy finish with the masses.

Alot of people dont like the pastel finishes. I personally think it kicks serious ***. Alot of them have turned mint greenish, mine is still blue.
