So, this summer I've been working on this album with a couple of friends, and it's finally done. All original material, complete with thought-provoking lyrics and masterful musical compositions (convinced yet?). I'll call it '60s influenced pop, but it's quite genre-defying if you listen to the album in its entirety. I played most of the instruments on the album, and some of the drums as well. There's also a number of Ricks on these recordings, I'll note that in detail at the end of this post.
Seriously though, do yourself a favor and download this album. We're giving it away for free because we want everyone to hear it. Let me know if you dig it, and if you don't (what's wrong with you?) then at least you'll hear some sweet RIC sounds.

No, that's one thing I can't do. Did pretty much everything else though, including recording it all.sloop_john_b wrote:You singing, Wes?

Lot's of fun Wes....beautiful guitars BTW

Wes, I'm blown away, all the arrangements and the gear are great, good sounding drums. Did you write the lyrics? I find them absolutely hysterical. Your album is like a time capsule for me, in a very good way. The music sounds vintage, would sound good in vinyl, but the lyric scope is by contrast sophisticated, informed by modern awareness and humor.

You really summed up the CD in one sentence there. I didn't write the lyrics, a couple of my friends generally write the songs and lyrics. My job it to create the compositions and instrumentation. Glad to hear you dig it!
