NAMM proto

Post by wittyair »

I recently acquired the 360 BBR pictured. Reportedly it was the 05 NAMM show guitar/prototype for the upcoming COY BBR. It has an 04 serial number and is signed
by John Hall. What do you all think.......a great rare desirable find or just another nice 360 BBR???

Well, if it's in your collection, it's probably the former, but you could always ask the man himself. :D

In any case, it's a COY, so it's more desirable, and so will probably be worth more than the average 360.

It's a gorgeous guitar, but I don't think it being a NAMM guitar really adds much to the value.

Craigger.....Man, is that some sort of digital wackiness or is the body center that white-looking in person? Cool score. Props to you. Regards.....Goofyfoot.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

No David, no wackiness! That's why I bought it. It's almost like unpainted in the middle......just wood grain. It very much
reminded me of that blue burst from the 60s that sold for $18K several months back. I think this could be COY BBR # 1.

Wittyair.....Did you get a chance to either PM or e-mail JH for the definitive answer to your hunch that this BBR was #1 in the production lineup? Now you've got me curious, too. Regards.....Goofyfoot.
