365W

Post by timelineguitars »

Has anyone heard of 365W? Someone is selling a vintage 365W locally. The price seems to be high for a regular 365 unless W means someting? I heard of 365F (full size), 365 NS (new style), 365 OS (old style) but never heard of 365W. Anyone can help? Thanks.

Maybe they mean a 365WB ("with binding") a.k.a. 365WBBS ("with binding, both sides"). Differentiated from a 365OS (old-style) by having 24 frets, non-full width inlays, and (usually) high gain pickups. Knowing the year of this instrument would help - the term "vintage" is often used rather loosely.

Thanks for your help and info. The guy took the listing off Craigslist. He might have sold it or changed his mind.
