Re: Jazzmaster
My, JB, it do shine, don't it?
Interesting wording here..."slight relic(k)ing" (gotta post something about spelling that one...oh, I just did...anyway, it needs a "K" for past tense and infinitive form...)
"Slight relic(k)ing" to the paint", and then, "perfect condition". Good call. Otherwise, it'd be, "very good condition" and "a few paint chips and nicks".
Nice one...
And, reading the Q&A copy, he's (of course) "improved" on Forrest White's original idea of two tone circuits in one guitar, by adding a s**tload of tiny switches and two nasty splittable hummers. Not to mention the MOTS guard. He's been customizing JMs for 15 years...you'd think he would get it right--the JM IS already a "factory custom!"

Re: Jazzmaster
It needs more switches, and maybe a couple of more knobs. The finish could also use a bit more distressing.
Re: Jazzmaster
If he left it alone it would be sold by now...

Re: Jazzmaster
at least JB's is better-put than most MF-style factory-new relicking ads, wherein they do it to a new guitar to get a markup:jingle_jangle wrote:My, JB, it do shine, don't it?

Re: Jazzmaster
Ryan, by "JB" I meant Biscuti's initials.
No idea whose geetar that is...but we agree on the silliness of paying for relicking.
