For any of you bassists considering an all-tube Ampeg - here is an early SVT II, the non-pro one, and is closer in circuitry to the old SVTs. No affiliation, good BIN.

Re: Pardon My Ampeg
Some dork put in a minimum bid and negated the BIN. Sigh.

Why do people do that?
Suck it up and hit the bin or stay on the porch out of the way!

Re: Pardon My Ampeg
I'm curious about what it weighs without the wooden box. Probably only a little lighter.
Re: Pardon My Ampeg
Scott, yup, lead, follow, or get out of the way. The BIN was really fair - $650 IIRC.....
Kevin, considering it's vintage and not a Pro, less than a Pro would go for, but then it is made in the USA. I got my 2 Pro that had just been retubed at the factory for $700 shipped, but that was a few years ago. For this one I would think that is in the ball park.
Weight would be around 75 lbs.
