Can't say much for the tinny single note guitar parts, but overall, the song is a far superior original recording to the annoying Camper Van Beethoven cover of the song! The video is tops as well!! :D

If I am not mistaken I believe that the Rick bass is being played by Roger Waters with the original Syd Floyd... don't quite understand why all these clips are accompanying Pictures of Matchstick Men (cracking tune though it is).
Still, its a good excuse.
