We're BACK ON in ORLANDO, right outside of Disney's front door!

I apologize for the confusion and frequent changes of plans.

$129.00 per night which includes a continental breakfast for EACH PERSON.

I can honestly say this is the BEST PRICE for any NICE hotel in Orlando at this time of year.

WE have 15 ROOMS blocked at this point BUT WE NEED A DEFINITE CONFIRMATION....BECAUSE, if we reserve a room and the attendee doesn't show up......WE HAVE TO PAY the full price for the room!

The BOOKING CODE is S.E.R.F but don't call the hotel yet, the booking manager hasn't entered it into the computer yet.

SO, we need to know ASAP if you are planning to attend.

Interesting, there was talk of me coming down to visit some family in the Palm City area this winter. Flying into Florida from NH it is really really cheap from Manchester to Orlando. So if I happen to swing through town around this time would be cool to stop in and meet everyone.

Although I likely would be Ric-less. Just a 650D anyway

I have every intention of coming, but always hesitate to guarantee with the variables of bringing two kids in tow, my partner and her schedule, and my teaching/work schedule. Hopefully you will have more than 15 people say they are coming so if one or two have to cancel for business or personal reasons you have enough. I will do everything I can to be there. Florida at the end of Winter and meeting new Rick friends -- what could be better!

One question for folks who fly to these sorts of things (I will be flying), how do you transport guitars? I'd love to bring some guitars but don't know the best way to bring them.

If anyone wants to ship stuff to me, feel free to do so. I get a killer discount at work on FedEx shipments, so returning your gear to you would be cheap. For the 75th anniversary I shipped a 330/12 and a 900 to a friend in LA so I could display them at the confluence. Seems like only yesterday!!!

And Dr Bob I sure hope you can make it! I dont' think I've seen you since the 75th when we did the little interviews!

You are correct. We met and talked at the 75th and haven't crossed paths since. As you know the 75th was the start to my (re)interest in Ricks.

I will probably take you up on your offer of shipping a couple of guitars to you. I'd love to bring my Capri and maybe the 1965 360OS, but don't want to risk them unboxed in a baggage hold. I also want to bring my audio files of the interviews from the 75th and see what we can do. I will say no more -- you probably remember our email exchange from many months ago. PM at some point and we can conspire.

Hey Bob,

Basically, Jdog & I have a list of contacts from people who showed interest. Jdog has been nutty at work, basically, they are replies from my list.

By the way, it's up to eight, but most are couples so I'm looking at a room count.....

MOST are from out of town, we need to get this buttoned down by early next week. Then we can proceed.

Jason has a bunch of people over on the west coast of Florida, I'm sure we'll have some more information soon.

We're getting closer... sorry, had to rebuild my computer yesterday, haven't been at work for 1 1/2 days, very nutty yes, but should be caught up by end of week. I think we have 9 or 10 suites spoken for, just a few more to go!
