620 Updates?

Post by cmuk »

Apologies if I've missed a discussion on this previously, but does anyone know if the 620 is due to get the FWI and small headstock updates like the 360?

Thanks.

Full-width inlays on the fretboard.

The 620 did indeed get the small headstock and full inlays.

Not sure that they all have the vintage headstock yet. This one is 2008 with FWI, but it's not the same shape as the 2008 360.

I had my mitts on a new one last week. One of the employees of my local Rick dealer ordered one for himself, a 620 Mid Blue with FWI and a small headstock. For what it is worth I feel the new inlays look much better in person than they photograph.

The updates RIC has made in the last couple of years is definitely a step in the right direction.

I agree with that, too!

I also am of the opinion that the variations make for a better selection to suit one's personal likings with regard to features.

I think Ben Hall posted on the corporate forum that Ric had not changed the 620 headstock yet,but I don't remember how long ago he posted that.
