Thanks for the great photos!

I've never seen a Laredo with the open backed tuners. I like it! I have a few Ricks with the closed back Schaller M4s, and I gotta say I prefer the open backers.

And great color choice on the 4001. Sweet!

Thanks Jeff.

I was a bit suspicious about the open backed tuners, thinking they might be replacements, as I'd only seen the small closed Schallers, but when I took them
off to check this out, they are in fact the original tuners and no sign of any other tuners being fitted. It's a December 1994 model, maybe it was a special order by someone that prefered this type over the Schaller M4's. I don't really know for sure, but it would be good to find out if they were available as an option.

Awesome news for the Laredo folks!

I would hope for some Ciis soon, but the body woods are different, so I don't know if they'd make them in the same batch. One can dream, though!

You've got a BBR Laredo on hold, right Ryan?

All these 4004L's being shipped make me wish I had one of them on order instead of a 4003MG.

Oh well, I was a couple of 4003FLMG's, maybe plain old 4003MG's are coming soon...

No, I've got a Cii on hold. I thought about the L (my wife likes chrome better than gold), but I figured I would get the Cii sooner since my dealer didn't have any BBR Ls on order when I reserved the Cii. I also figured I'd like the charactered maple. Well...he just got one sent to him.
