Where did you see the Buzzard Bass here in town, Norman Music?

No,not here in town,...I saw it while I was in Tulsa a couple of weeks ago...When I said "saw one here" in the thread,I meant here in Ok. Was up there w/ my job,and a friend took me to a store there...We went there to kill a little time and look around, and when we walked in,there it was on display, with a great pic of Entwistle with his...we spoke to the saleman/tech for the bass... he was traveling and making the rounds to a few stores and shows with it..Beautiful instrument...fairly heavy...(I held it for a minute)...all black, graphite reinforced...This one was the real deal and went for 5 g's plus...He said they also make a bolt on for about $2500.00....One of the coolest looking headstocks I've ever seen....

That makes sense, the only place I could think of that would have something that expensive is Norman Music. I bought my 4001cs there for $1400, it had been sitting in the backroom since 2000. I thought it was odd that they were so happy to see it go, not big ebayers I guess.

Norman music gets some cool pieces every once in a while...It seems like they'll deal with you a little if they know you... I've known Chris there for a couple of years...very nice guy....Otherwise,their stuff seems a bit high to me....You scored on that CS though....
