Are you talking about the "Blackstar 5" that sold about a year ago or the regular BT 5 stringer? Either one would have been great to have, I hate it that I missed the one I ordered from Mike.

Sweet bass, the finish looks a mile deep.

Oh, the 5 string? I ordered it at the end of Dec on the last day they were taking orders for the 5 strings, it came in months later and I was leaving for Egypt, no money, no bass. It was really bad timing for the deal, I really wanted the bass, soon after they cancelled the BT option. That's it in a nutshell.

Breath-taking headstock shot, Kendall!
Great golden hues in that natural lighting.

Congratulations!!!

Paul, thanks for the compliment, it's hard to get the lighting on the bass, so I figured that a low sun would give a great hue to the headstock. If I get time this weekend I'll break out the lights and see if I can't do better

Tell me about it, everytime I go and shoot a pic of one of the basses I'm always thinking "what would Paul think." But I do appreciate the comments, this is a great board.

Oh, here I blush.
Man, I'm not that good at all! I just enjoy photography and am always excited to see a great photo.

And to celebrate for Kendall's new acquisition, let me put up a couple of headstock shots of Sophie my black headed baby, as a welcome for Kendall's new baby to the family.

I still don't have a Squire and a Redneck. Come to think of it, I don't have a 4000, a 5 string, a Cheyenne II, or a 4005 either. Heck, I am just getting started!
