I thought it might be cool to post pics of the very best rock band logos and maybe add a comment or two as to why they should be on this list.

Here's the first of many I hope that will follow:

No introduction necessary on this one. Possibly one of the best band logos of all time.

yes he was.. I saw them in concert when I was 16 nose bleed seats.. but what a show.. I can still feel the Capital centre boom boom clap.... awesome.. absolutely great from beginning to end.

I saw them for the Night At The Opera tour in 1976, then again for The Game tour in 1980. Fantastic both times.
