This is in my view pretty hard.

This act were one hit wonders in mid sixties but the track was a clough classic.

The hit made number 5 in UK but went top three in US. Regretfully the act could not find the hit formula again,this is taken from an album by this act called hits and rarities, misnomer it should have said hit and rarities.

this track deserved to have been a hit IMO.

Think I have this one with the sound of the vocals and your clues. If it is what I think it is, I sing it at karaoke sometimes

Actually thoght this would get a lot of you but no once again most of you one way or another came up trumps it was The Cascades
