I had two a Mapleglo and a Fireglo, marriage does that to you. I should have kept the basses, never argued with me once, just looked pretty all the time.

OK Bob, lucky for you that I am an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church which enables me to ** legally ** marry couples in California, and since this is the wacky S.F. Bay area -- anything goes. So, without further ado,
Do you, Bobampeg, promise to play, enjoy and cherish this fabulous bass for as long as you shall live? Good, I now pronounce you musician and bass. You may play the Ric!
Congratulations

It's a 1999. I'm very happy with it so far. The previous bass I had was a 1998 4003FG.
