Boy, I don't know how anyone got THAT impression. I know Hautewerk's material fine but beyond that I'm fairly lost!winston wrote:I understand that you are an excellent bass player.

I heard you play at SoCalCon, John; you passed the audition all right
All I wanna do is rock!

Nice digs John and thanks for the humidity update. I'm glad it wasn't a real issue. As a player it's always nice to get better to your own ears (and hopefully other's ears as well) but hey as long as you have fun .... play on!!!! And with your new studio that should be easy.

Several well known bass players who are amazing musicians themselves, have confided in me that you are an excellent bass player. Now we can add modesty to the list of your achievements.

Nice studio, John.
Man, recording and staring at the ocean.
Two of my favorite pastimes.
Rickenbacker Records. Has a nice ring.

If vinyl record sales were to suddenly increase worldwide, I would lobby for LP reissues of the Hautewerk and my own catalog under that very imrpint ("Rickenbacker Records - A Division of RIC Media").shamustwin wrote:Rickenbacker Records. Has a nice ring.
By contrast to FBTS, here's a shot of my home studio:

John - what records are those framed up on the wall?
Re: Pictures of your studio
Here's what my studio looked like today:

and I, too, can see the water when I play.
No dolfins or streakers, but there are three seals who come around, and an occasional manta.

I actually don't have a studio, y'all...I pulled that picture off the interweb back in the '90s.
