Has anyone seen this???

Has anyone seen this before???

If I am miles behind (again) then I apologise, but my friend who collects Gibson's put me onto this site from China. Stacks of knock offs of all brands including Rickenbackers. He was very surprised to see how much they can get away with.

The site is called http://www.dhgate.com. Couldn't believe it when I saw it, but as I say, I am always a bit backward with these things

Rickygirl.......Hmmm, it must be the upgraded model, complete with fake Toasters® and Bigsby® vibrato. Amazing. The cost of a pair of new Toasters® at the Ric Boutique just about equals that of the guitar. Two clubs.....three hearts.....four no-trump.....uuhhh-errr.....PASS! Peace, out.....Goofyfoot.
Play on, pick often, jam with any Rickenbacker, and prosper.

Ah, alas the headstock stinks. Rest is nice though. I think I simply must have a 350 now

Hmmmm....... think I might buy 30 of them and save myself $50 a pop!!

Still makes it a pretty expensive bonfire to dance around, though...............

Okay I admit it, if it was in the shop down the street I might be tempted, but then I would have to look myself in the mirror for the rest of my life. In the words of Anna to the character of Holly in the movie The Third Man. "Take a look at yourself. They have a name for faces like that" . Then again with the guy up woodward charging 2500 for what's left of a 67 360, and the guy at New to You charging the kings ransom for a 330 I might be so ****** off at prices for the real mcCoy that I just might do it. I'd ditch the black veneer on the headstock though. Yuk. if Ric would just reissue a freaking 59 345 or 330 I'd be happy, if broke.

I stay out of New to You since the owner always stands over you like a hawk. I can't believe he's still in business after all of these years. He used to get some nice stuff from time to time though.

The fun part starts with the shipping charges. $1,400 to ship this Rickenfaker to the US with FedEx.

Yeah I saw those prices too, blew me away, but his ad says free shipping on that particular guitar.

I didn't think the headstock wasn't bad, but that upper horn looks dangerous--someone could put an eye out!!

For your perusal...you may be here a while.
You'll probably want to start with the "Others."
