Just like indonesian food: It's Bloody Hot!I got it used but like new 2008 Made in Indonesia Squier Standard Telecaster with a like new Roadrunner gigbag.Bought at my local guitar store $169.
Mitch, these are great guitars--love the "currycaster" moniker by the way!
My first tele was one of these little jewels, but I sold it a year or two later when I picked up a '52RI. Then I picked up a second one a year or so back as a travel guitar. I've played around with this one a bit--put a set of SD 5-2 pups in, and swapped the neck for a Fender MIM Std neck--it's a slightly beefier neck, and not as prone to changes due to temp/humidity changes as I felt the Indonesian neck was.
Nice looking set you got there Mitch. Can't beat he price you paid for it! And with those squiers there are so many pickup options and mods you can do to them.
I have an indonesian Mini that I swapped the pickups on and hot-rodded. That's the beauty of real cheap guitars; I have no qualms about making it into just what I want it to be. This guitar cost me $70 and now I wouldn't sell it for $500, it sounds so ME.
