You've done well, Jerry. That's a really tasty bass. I remember staring at the Buy It Now button on the ex-Crisman bass when it first came up for sale on eBay, anxiously hoping that someone else would buy it to stop the temptation I was faced with.

Thanks, this is my second V63, the other a '99. This is a July '01.

Really in nice shape. Plays great.

Damn! That's fine, Jerry. How does it play? Better than the '99 (which you've never told me the color of, BTW)? How's the neck profile? Fat like my belly, or as slim as a supermodel?

It plays like a dream, slim neck, same as my '99 MG.
Odd thing about the MG, there's next to zero grain or figuring in the wood.

Jerry, my '04 4003 is a plain grain, but to have a V63 plain is a new one. All those I've seen have very interesting maple. Huh.

They still play and sound great though!
