She looks a lot better than Jimmy and John; I don't blame Robert a bit. I saw Alison and Robert this past summer and they put on a wonderful show.

I ran into them at a rehearsal studio in London back in the middle of June. They sure looked like they were enjoying themselves . . .

I wonder if he thinks the Zep shouldn't take flight again. I know they did that one-off at the O2 arena, but being on tour would be a lot harder on the voice singing Zep tunes every night....just a thought.
It's a shame, because there is a whole generation of fans who have never seen them.

I think Allison should go out on the road with Zep! She'd be great!

(and ...well, y'know...anything to keep some guy from Home Depot gettin' that gig...)

John,
Was that Zep or Plant and Alison Krauss enjoying themselves?

The hell with Plant! The other three, who have been rehearsing, should go out with a younger guy that can scream and sing those high notes and bring him on.

Disappointing :(

Artists have been known to change their minds however.

Sorry...

"(and ...well, y'know...anything to keep some guy from Home Depot gettin' that gig...)"

...should have read: "...anything to prevent some guy..." (I tried adding another "from" in there, but it got really unreadable at that point.)

Anyway, back to the thread...what about what's-her-name from 'Heart'...(Ann Wilson? Nancy? Don't hate me if I can't remember)...I've heard that woman sing some Zep and she...what's the term?...gots it...

What if the "cover" singer is David "Cover"dale?

Ann Wilson would be a very interesting choice for a Zep tour.

Zep. It was also the first time I had met Jason Bonham- quite a pleasant guy. I guess it was a day for drummers, because Nick Mason showed up at a reception we had a little later that day.

John, are by chance working on a book? I'm sure you have lots of tales to tell. :)

I hope now. I saw clips of Coverdale singing Zeppelin tunes on the Page/Coverdale tour and it was beyond terrible IMO.
