Yeah and why he slings the bass low.
The first gig of my 4001, a lass I know who plays bass on occasion (along with drums, guitar and being an excellant singer and songwriter), came up to me and said "may I touch the holy wood". How can a man say no to such things?

I don't know if I'd go as far as Squire... no cape or thigh boots or hats.... but I guess the feeing is there I do like the vest!

With my 79JG4001circa 1981. We we're opening for one of my favorite bands, and fellow Ric users(Richard Barone), the Bongos. This was either at Danceteria or the Peppermint Lounge in NYC.
