Thanks guys. I hope I didn't take over this thread, even in my absence

At any rate, back to the ink, I get the final work done on my ink tomorrow night. Yah! It took MANY years to get this ink on my body and I'm already planning the next one.

There likely won't be much to show. He will be adding the highlights to the headstock, adding the white to the pickguard and redoing the shadow/highlight around the soundhole. Other than that, I am sure he will add little fourishes, but really it is complete now.

I had it done at Underground Ink in Georgetown. I went to them with the lyrics and it was their idea to add the Ric.

Hey Gary,

You have been here I presume. Yonge Street, is Yonge Street. Some parts are nicer than others. Yorkville is very expensive and very trendy.

I am thinking about coming to CA in January.

Landing in San Diego so I can go to the Taylor factory tour, and visit one of my equally REM addicted friends.
Flying to San Francisco and driving north to Mendocino to go to guitar camp for a long weekend.

Lucky you! I'm about 15 minutes north of San Francisco. Stop by for coffee.

It was a cockatoo...otherwise this thread would be called "Rickatiel" and would have no action.
Ehhh, I'm not a birdbrain. I only found a pic of a cockatiel and it had the same feather updo, so I guessed wrong.

I had the final work done on my ink on October 9 where he added highlights to the headstock, further work was done on the Ric body and the ribbon. It is now all nicely healed and here is the result.

Wo-ho! I love R.E.M., Pete Buck, his Ric, and all the rest the gang too, but I must admit, my devotion to those boys is peanuts compared to what you have shown off here. Very awesome lyric_girl, whoever you are. A wide angle shot would help put it in better perspective. Peace, Steve-O.
