I am a very lucky person, my nephew went to high School with a kid who's dad used to work for Apple. He has quite a collection of Beatles photos, recordings and 16mm Film. Remember Let It Be was supposed to be a glimpse into the Fab Four's life in the studio so the tape deck and the movie camera were always recording. Phil Specter had to create an album and movie from miles of tape and film without any input from The Beatles. For my Birthday my nephew gave me a copy of Let it Be recorded on VHS from the 16mm film, plus about 2 hrs of film snippets from the Let It Be sessions. I'm sure no one has seen this footage before. Quality is not great but you can see and hear each member doing his own thing. John & Yoko working on some noise, Paul & Ringo playing piano together. It is a rare peek into what the Beatles were all about at the end of their historic career.
I will try to post some clips on You tube soon. I will add the link when i'm done.

Let It Be!
Re: Let It Be!
I've been searching for that movie but it's not currently available that I can find. I saw it when it came out in the theatre in '71 or '72, and would love to find it on DVD. I guess it's made scarce because it's not really flattering to them?

Re: Let It Be!
My Understanding is that Apple has yet to re-release it. The Movie itself is not that great really except for the rooftop concert. Neither was magical mystery tour. It's part of Beatles History. Let me know if you want a copy I had Let it Be transferred from vhs to DVD. Again quailty is VHS 400 lines of resolution.

The LIB DVD is available from time to time on Ebay, where I got my copy last year.
