Very, very nice, Ross. Congrats. Is it one you'd had on order and had been waiting for?

Man, that's purrrty! I'm usually more of a Mapleglo guy, but these lately, I'm getting rather fond of Fireglo...

Thanks everybody...it was one of those impulse buys - I've been looking for a FG for a while now and this one caught my eye. When the 4004L's started flowing I began hitting the sites to see what was available - then I spotted this beauty. I was a little tense about buying a bass sight unseen (except for the photos) but I suppose that just made "the moment" all that much sweeter when I unpacked her and popped the case. The folks at work that witnessed "the moment" said the look on my face was priceless!

All she needed was a quick tuning and it was clankity-clank as the wine glasses came crashing out of the rack to the floor!!! Beauty - the setup was perfect. Kudos to Classic Axe and of course the crew at RIC for yet another masterpiece.

Ron - tell Cindy thanks for setting me up with my new gal!

The occasion? Festivus of course!!!! Well, that plus I survived 15 weeks stuck in Rancho Cucamonga (and missed the summer back home)...I also survived the SoCal 08 debauchery! yeah, that's the ticket. 8) Kinda like hazardous duty pay!

Autumn is better than summer in the NY area anyway. Too hot in the summer. More comfortable temps and awesome foliage at the this time of year.

Hey Ross, c-grats on the new Ricky. I wish you'd had that at RickFest. There were no new 4003's with the full width inlays there and I've still never seen one in the flesh..er..wood.
