Gone Green!
Just arrived: 1988 350 VP in environmentally friendly "Green Burst" conversion varnish finish. Custom features include checkered bindings, bound slash soundhole, new bubinga fretboard with full width crushed pearl inlays, slimmed headstock, backpainted pickguards/TRC with polished edges, and custom wiring using 5th. knob as a volume control for middle pickup. Customized and refinished by Larry Davis.

VERY nice! I've been thinking about bound headstocks, haven't seen enough of 'em to really make up my mind, but I think I'm really starting to like 'em!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

My Oh My. That is one Fine Looking Green Machine! Spectacular would be an understatement. I've always felt that there weren't enough green guitars in the world.

Notice the way Larry Davis has created a set of clear guards that are back painted in white to match the way the vintage TRC is backside finished. Excellent eye for detail he has, eh?
