Your RIC Hereos?

Post by JakeK »

This is a little different from the "Who Inspired You" thread I made a few months ago.

Anyone here should have a RIC hero. He/she can be a well known musician, or even a member here.

My Ric heroes (in no order) are:
Pete Townshend
Tom Petty
Mike Campbell
John Lennon
George Harrison
Paul McCartney
Roger McGuinn
John Kay
Carl Wilson
Chris Squire
John Entwistle (despite him giving Rics little concert publicity (but you can't hate him since he liked Fenders and Alembics, too), he loved the feel of a RIC neck, and that says a lot)
Susanna Hoffs

John C. Hall (he's the Ric CEO)
F.C. Hall (he founded RIC)

and of course...

ALL MY RRF FRIENDS!

Egor Letov. Andrey Makarevich.
As for those you may know — i'd say Tom Fogerty and George Harrison.

Jake since you are adding the Hall's you shouldn't forget Adolph Rickenbacker and George Beauchamp.

I would also add Peter Buck to Jake's list.
