Most of the Cottonwoods have turned yellow, but not really lost their leaves yet.

Snow's up to about 10 inches, but it's been warm, about 34F, so a lot has melted. It's supposed to be in the 50's all next week, so it'll all be melted in the next few days. Sure is pretty though!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

CJ, when we were checking the wx this weekend for our going to Lake Michigan, I saw you were getting snow and so I won't tell you we had 82 degrees, sun, and I was in the lake both Sat. and Sun. as it was still warm enough.....

It is 75 degrees inside my house tonight and I feel COLD!
It's now only ten days since Jerry's post, and we now are having Santa Ana winds and, unfortunately, some serious fires.

Yes, it's been in the '80's since that day, I have ashes on my porch and can see and smell the fires. Though there's not a chance they'd reach me.

Here we go again, another wildfire season. Fingers are crossed our Californian brethren fare well this year.
