I thought maybe I was telling others to get up and jam, but now that you mention it, I do recall asking how the heck to operate that thing. Pretty cool device, but he for got to leave the 80 page manual up there for me!

Actually Paul, I believe his bass was a stripped Tuxedo that he had refinished to look like a Redneck.

Ok, right. I remember that situation now. I still think the stripped-to-maple variety is even better than the original. If I ever find a beat-up Tuxedo bass, that's what I'll do to it.

A couple of friends said the same. But it sure does look sharp dressed in red.

(To leave it stripped, I figured that I would have had to put some sort of finish on it since it was already picking up stains and oil marks.)

11 years in the making. My baby since high school. This past Sunday was the first time she way played at a show. Main guitar was my Tele....people thought Id use the Rick on the sweet songs....funny thing was that I used it on the songs that I let loose and ripped it up on!....High-gains gave that extra push that I needed.

...new Here, but have loved Rics for a very long time..Here i am with 'The Reaction' 1986, Blue Mountain resort Collingwood, in front of 400 people Yiikes! Love the mod, mod world look? heh heh..

Guitars are 1986 330/6 LH JG and 86 330/12 LH in blue..i ordered these two guitars brand new in 1984 from Steve's music in Toronto, and waited two years for them..btw, i ordered the 12 string in Fire glow with chrome hardware, and it came blue with black hardware!..never liked it, never stayed in tune and it had reversed everything..i ended up pawning it at Richmond trading post on Church street.

Moments after this picture was taken, (i kid you not!!) the crowd of drunken ski bunnies and their jock boyfriends rushed the stage to dance on it, and a very soused girl (who had thrown her cowboy hat on the floor, see in pic..) tried to tackle me and drove me and my guitar into the piano on the left, and broke the top machine head right off the guitar!!! I finished the set using my back up Jaguar..

I wonder if this guitar is still around? I replaced the assy. with a noticeably smaller replacement, that did not screw into the original stripped out screw holes..i actually was talking guitars one night to a young guy in a bar on Roncesvalles ave. who had bought this guitar from the pawnshop or the next owner (this was in 2000 or so..) If you are out there and you still have it, or know who does, give me a shout!!

Do I also spy an Acoustic 370 bass head? I used to have the 371 (370 head and the massive 18" folded horn speaker cabinet) back in the day. 'Bout the only thing heavier was an SVT.
