No, I don't think the thread is particularly boring. Some of the posts are, though (no offense).

Sorry, what? I must have dozed.

Obviously, typing the names other brands is not verboten, or anything shocking, as people type them all the time, as well as post pics of all the other brands they proudly own. I'm not sure how I've taken it when I've seen it; maybe as humorous, maybe as a sign of irritation with the brand in question from past experience, or I might not thought anything of it at all. :D

F*nd*r, G*b**n, H*f**r R**k**b**k*r ok maybe its just me but I fail to see the humor and im guessing that some of you who thought it was funny are feeling different now, do yourself a favor, dont be a hater, I appreciate basses of all makes I dont look down on any or of those who own them, there are people that would love to own R**K**B**R but at this time dont have the means, and some of the threads and attitudes toward other basses and manufacters is kind of a slap in thier faces, thus tarnishing thier opinion of R**K owners, so just chill, think of those not as fortunate as us, I appreciate another musician I can give a rats *** what kind of instrument they play, as long as they play and have fun and get great enjoyment doing it, thats the bottom line for me, brand names dont impress me, other musicians do, take good care all, and as always ,please, please, please, stay safe, those of you who will be at the M A R F, im looking forward to seeing all of you there.

No, not a one, he did at one time play the sax, but that wasent a Rick eithier, but my sister Lois now, if she did play, she would be playing a Rick, no doubt about it.
