It's a bit lighter than that. Don't forget, it was ME who took that picture. That pic a good one for me!

Thanks for the welcome rickenbrother. I've been lurking, and the forum seems like a great source of info and banter. This blueburst 620 is my only ric. Up until a few years, I used to own a jetglo320, a pristine beauty late 80's- that I sold to purchase a Geckoburst Les Paul. I just couldn't adjust my playing to the 320's scale- so I had to let it go. It's funny, I was around Ric Basses all through junior and high school- friends owned them, in two different bands, but I don't think I ever seriously played a Ric Guitar until after college. I really love the size and feel of the 620- it can be so authoritative when it needs to be. I agree with others' assessment that the 620 is somewhat of a telecaster on steriods feel. I wish the neck profile was more of a "c"- I know- sacrilege. I bought mine 2nd hand-ebay and it needed some substantial neck adjustment at woodsongs lutherie..

+1, +10 !!!!
Yeah, no kidding; it would be great to see a C63 offered in COY, or any color in addition to FG. The reasoning behind the FG only option is that it's an authentic replica of GH's 12, but I'm sure if GH were given the choice he might have picked one in JG. Besides, the V64s were available in any available finish, so why not?
