matbe I can make life easy for myself. Looks better than the one Chicago Music exchange has. Seems to have all the features of that 72BG I was looking at.

What do you guys think?

I think its a sweet "base" and I can't understand why the seller stopped playing this "base", expecially if he was in the music "biz'ness" as a "base" player. Otherwise, pull the trigger and get it out of his hands ASAP.

Seriously, it is a most desirable 4001. I think you should eagerly snap it up.

A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Now that would make a very nice home for an NOS Horseshoe.

I'm trying to grab it but, you can't buy it unless you're a pre-approved bidder. I tried buy it now, it won't let me pay.

Geez, it's never easy.My luck, someone will grab it before I get a chance to buy

BTW, Steve you're reading my mind on the horseshoe.

Surely a professional base player would know how to restring his base?

Marc...you better get it before I drive across to Delray tomorrow waving large cabbage under his nose...How come everything you want is in Florida!! ..Wait a sec...new heavy gauge roto,s on that baby, after major closet inactivity. I,m going to need to see that neck profile and rods :-} Steve, that horseshoe has to go in a 60,s bass...anything else just is not worthy!!

Actually, this is the best e-bay gig for a while...I was thinking about the e-mail confirmation...This guy might well have a dozen e-mails to confirm and then it,s a finger race on the keyboard for those involved. Are your fast fingers up to the task...are you Geddy... or Lemmy when it comes to this dexterity!! There are probably going to be a few upset guys after this one!! Everyone waiting in anticipation for their confirmation...who,s going to bed tonight..For the east coast guys, it could be a late one...Marc, where are you...get the coffee on!!!

Sweet base, the pre approved thing is weird, all it does is prevent a bidfest. Good luck guys, grab it!

I don't know what to do. I've tried BIN three times. I understand the pre-approved bidder thing, but, if the BIN requires immediate payment, what's the difference who bids?
