Here's what appears to be a 4005 version, 3rd from right, which nicely shows the contrast between various FG's from the 60's...

Looks like a Rick-en-Funeral for that FG 4000...

No, I wish...It could be Graham's tho'...beatlefreak wrote:Wow! Your collection, Wints?
No, actually it's John Slog's old collection IIRC, and I think quite a few of these came when JH cleared out the NOS of 60's basses in the very late 80's. John Williams had the price list posted here once, again IIRC, and that was very cool reading...

Andrew: Thanks for sharing this fantastic bass photo. A stunning contrast between the fireglo and backyard greenglo. A great Christmas feel. Also a nice cross-sectional look at Rickenbacker basses.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Some good ones...

Is that 4000 laying directly on that brick patio? Ah, it hurts just thinking about it. I've never figured out why people like taking guitars outside for photos. Obviously the light is better, but must they always be placed so precariously?wints wrote:Here's what appears to be a 4005 version, 3rd from right, which nicely shows the contrast between various FG's from the 60's...

I'll give you a million for all of them, not a penny more.
