360/CW in Mapleglo

Post by rick36 »

Were there any 360/12 CW's MG ever made? I know the Japanese export 360's were available in Mapleglo. What do you think :?:. Please RSVP...

I remember hearing something like there were two made, and they're still at the factory waiting to be ordered by a dealer? I definitely butchered that story, but I do recall John Hall saying something to that effect once.

First time I've heard that ... maybe JH will chime in here ...

Here is a link to a thread on the RIC Forum where John Hall mentions the Mapleglo CW models.

Even though the question was not how many were made, but rather how one could find out, I'll tell you the numbers:
360CWLH: 3
360/12CWLH: 4
Further notes of possible interest: one each of the 6 and 12 string in Mapleglo still remain unsold in our inventory, and there are six guitars of the series remaining to be produced.
It's been a little over two years since John Hall posted his comment. I wonder what the current status is?

It's interesting that Mr. Hall said:

"and there are six guitars of the series remaining to be produced."

I wonder what LE certificate numbers they are since I own #500 of 500.

A CW in MG, gee I wonder how good one of THOSE looks. :D

It's amazing how many NOS Rics they have at the factory, such as several unsold (and probably unproduced) CS basses, and now these CW rarities.

OK then, it's a big "YES". I would like to order (1) 360/12 CW MG and (1) 360 CW MG. Oh and yes , at 2000 prices as well. Please supply photos for all of the Forums to see - hopefully lots of Quilting and Flame! Thanks again - I'll keep an eye out for the invoice!(not kidding...)
