Re: Top 10 Metal Albums
"Looks" was from their second album "Shout At The Devil". I do think that "Too Fast for Love" might make my top 10. Great topic!! I'm compiling my list now.

Ok, here's my .02 cents:
1. Metallica: Master of Puppets
2. Slayer: Reign in Blood
3. Guns N Roses: Appetite for Destruction
4. Pantera: Cowboys from Hell
5. Van Halen: Van Halen
6. Metallica: Kill Em All
7. Black Sabbath: Paranoid
8. Ozzy: Blizzard of Oz
9. Slayer: South of Heaven
10. Witchfinder General: Death Penalty
Notes: some people included Zep, while others didn’t. I don’t think that they’re technically considered metal – “proto-metal,” maybe. If allowed, I would put Led Zeppelin II, and Led Zeppelin IV very high on the list. I also agree with what a few people said about including Motley Crue in here somewhere – the Crue rocked, in their day. Judas Priest’s British Steel should also be on any such list.

Re: Top 10 Metal Albums
Well I'm a bit late to this, but here's mine (for now), although many may not be considered HM by todays standards (but now I'm 45 I don't care
). In no particular order:
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Heaven & Hell - Black Sabbath
British Steel - Judas Priest
Sign of the Hammer - Manowar
Fighting the World - Manowar
Women & Children First - Van Halen
Live & Dangerous - Thin Lizzy
Made in Europe - Deep Purple
Bomber - Motorhead
Space Ritual - Hawkwind (say what you like, it sounds like metal to me...)
Actually that was really tough and I've left out some great albums....

I can't compile a Top 10 list; I like way too much stuff of all sub-genres.

Re: Top 10 Metal Albums
absolutely. take the makeup off of their early albums and they were a formidable musical force...IMHO of course.
