"The waiting is the hardest part...."

JimK

P.S. Turning summersaults? Gee, will there be enough time to do that what with figuring out that legendary 5th knob? And what about all that huge backlog of songs I need to learn? And you think RIC has a backlog!

I thought I was gonna start my victory dance today. I went over to the RIC site, checked the shipping list, and lo & behold! There was Rhoads' Music listed. O the joy! Then I checked what Rhoads actually received; a 360/12 LH JG w/LH VC. Nuts! Image
Oh well, some Southpaw is going to be happy, just not this one. (Just as well...I don't play a so-called left handed guitar anyway.)

I'm rooting for you, Jim. It's like Lennon said, "It won't be long". I say that you just not think about it, and play your other guitars in the meantime :)

It's gonna happen, Jim - and soon! Everything that is shipping lately is pretty much MG, JG, and MID, which could mean that there's (hopefully) a load of FG in the final stages of completion. And, your 360/12 FG and my 660 AFG will be IN that bunch (they've gotta be!). I'll go out on a limb and predict that they'll ship before 11/15.
And a Happy Thanksgiving it will be...!

My friend that I mentioned a bit ago just received his 370/6 FG two days ago (from Dave's). I haven't seen it yet but I will try to get some pix and post. He is very pleased! He is especially impressed with the depth of the FG. Unfortunately, his house has been undergoing some serious rennovations over the last few months. It was supposed to be done around now but it looks like it'll be another 3-4 weeks. All his gear (amps, etc.) is packed away and the 370 has gone to his in-law's house until the house is in better shape to receive it! He hasn't even heard it through an amp yet. He tells me it's enough just to look at it right now and play it acoustically but I can see that not being quite enough in a short space of time. Gosh, maybe he'll have to bring it over and plug it in here!

How can he stand it? What torture!

It would be rough, Jim, but at least it is in hand and he can strum acoustically.

I'm hoping Bob's right with his prediction of before Thanksgiving.
